YSR Pension Kanuka: The Government of Andhra Pradesh has introduced the pension scheme “YSR Pension Kanuka” under the “Navarathnalu” (A scheme promised in the election manifesto of YSRCP).
The government has enhanced the old pension amount and started distributing the fresh pension from June 2019.
The status of the pension and the monthly disbursement report were updated on the official website.
YSR Pension Kanuka (Pension Status & New List)
YSR Pension Kanuka is applicable for the people who belong to Andhra Pradesh state. The category-wise pension amount was given in the below table.

The people of Andhra Pradesh state who come under any of the above categories can apply for the “YSR Pension Kanuka“.

Category Wise Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility to apply for the YSR Pension Kanuka is depended on the category of the pension. The coo\mmon eligibility factors are
- The candidate must belong to the BPL family holding White Ration Card
- Must be a domicile of that district where you apply pension for
- People who are getting pensions from other schemes are not eligible

Documents Required for YSR Pension Kanuka Application
Before you start the application process, make sure to keep the following documents handy.
- Pension Application Form
- Aadhar Card
- Bank’s Pass Book
- Address and ID Proof
- Age Proof
- Passport Size Photograph
- Handicapped Certificate (If Required)
- Proof of the category that you belong to (Disabled, Chronic Kidney Disease, etc)

How to Apply for YSR Pension Kanuka
- Collect the YSR Pension Kanuka Application from your Grama Volunteer or from the Gram Panchayat office.
- Fill out the application form
- Take a photocopy of all the above-mentioned documents
- Sign the required documents
- Submit the application form along with the documents to the Gram Panchayat/ Grama Volunteer
- In the next step, the documents are sent to Grama Sabha and then to MPDO/ Municipal Commissioner’s office
- The Commissioner of the Municipal/ MPDO will sanction the pension and submit the details to the online portal
- You will get notified about the status of the Pension
- The monthly pension will be distributed through Bank Account or through the Gram Panchayat Office

YSR Pension Kanuka Disbursement Report
The monthly disbursement report of YSR Pension Kanuka is updated on the official portal. The report is available for public view, anyone can visit the website and check the monthly disbursement report and the percentage of pending pensions.
Every month, more than 98% of pensions are disbursed in the state. In the month of December 2021, 98.84% of pensions are disbursed in the state with a number of Rs. 13,95,20,29,250/- (Rs. 1395 Crore).
Around 60 lakh people are getting benefitted from the YSR Pension Kanuka scheme.
FAQ on YSR Pension Kanuka
Ans: Eligible candidates can submit the required documents along with the duly filled and signed application form to the Panchayat Office/ Grama Volunteer of your Village.
Ans: MPDO is the sanctioning authority in Rural Areas and the Municipal Commissioner is the authorized person to sanction the pension in urban areas.
Ans: There is no age limit for disability pension in AP state. But, the disability should be at least 40%.
Ans: No, you are not eligible to apply for the YSR pension scheme if you do not have a White Ration Card.
