AP Auto Taxi Drivers 10 thousand Rupees Scheme 2023: Shri. Jagan Mohan Reddy, The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh is on a spree of distributing the money to all the categories of people living in the state.
From the 10th of September, the government has started receiving applications for providing the support fund of Rs.10,000 to Drivers who hold Auto/ Taxi/ Maxi Cab.
All the eligible candidates who would like to apply for this scheme can have a look at all the particulars regarding the application, payment, and eligibility details.

Why this Scheme?
After listening to the problems, and issues faced by all the Auto Drivers, the Chief Minister has passed his hand to support and provide financial assistance of ten thousand rupees to drivers who are driving either Auto or Cab/ Maxi Cab.
The beneficiaries can utilize these funds for their needs like paying Motor Insurance, Fitness Certificates, Vehicle repairs, etc. This payment will be done once a year as per the last notification.
After examining all the criteria, the Government has moved forward to support the drivers so that it can at least help them to a certain extent.
The government has now provided the guidelines for eligibility, application, verification, sanction, and payment of financial assistance to self-owned auto and taxi/Maxi cab drivers
Eligibility for Applying:
- The applicant whoever needs financial assistance from the Government needs to own and self-drive the Auto/ Cab.
- The proof of your own vehicle will be a Registration Certificate and the Driving License to drive that vehicle.
- If the vehicle is Tax eligible, then a tax certificate is necessary
- One person can apply this only for one vehicle
- The family of the candidate must be below poverty and they should possess a White Ration card.
- Other personal identification documents like an Aadhhar card and address proof are required.
- The vehicle must be owned by the applicant
How to Apply for AP Govt. Auto Drivers Assistance scheme:
From 10th September 2019, all the Road Transport Offices (RTO) will be available with help desks to make the Drivers aware of the privilege of the scheme and how to apply for the same.
The village or Ward Volunteers will be helpful in providing the proper guidance to fill out the applications, open a bank account, and distribute the receipts of payment.
Applications will be provided either by offline paper/ online-based mode. The registered driver cum owner will be asked to link the Aadhaar number to his vehicle and driving license database on the RTO website so that authentication can be done.
They will be informed to open an Unencumbered Bank account within a period of 15 days and Grama Volunteers will play their role in making you aware of what is this account. This Unencumbered bank account is to ensure a single vehicle is linked to a single candidate.
All the DTC/RTO/MVI Transport Authorities will make sure that there will be will counter to facilitate the filing of online applications and linking of Aadhaar numbers.
All these applications will be frozen and the ward-wise and village-wise data is forwarded to volunteers to verify the data.
After the verification is done by Grama Volunteers, Municipal Commissioner in Urban areas and MPDO in Rural areas will take the approval of the Collector and upload it to CFMS (https://cfms.ap.gov.in/) database portal.
So this will be the Verification process to make the candidate eligible for the scheme.
Amount Credit/ Payment:
Once the data is present in the Finance portal (CFMS), the Road Transport Commissioner will ask for the dispersal of the amount to all the beneficiaries, and payment will be made to the bank account of the applicant.
After the money is credited to the candidates, Grama Volunteers will make the door delivery of payment receipts, including the message given by Jagan Mohan Reddy to all these beneficiaries.
