WISDOM Mathematics & Science Scholarship Scheme 2021: The Wisdom Educational Foundation has started a scholarship scheme for the students from class 3rd to 8th standards in the state of Maharashtra.
The aim of this program is to encourage the Maths & Science talent in the students of Maharashtra.
This exam is conducted on two subjects mathematics and science and is conducted in different districts of Maharashtra.
The scholarship provides an opportunity for the students to present their skills in mathematics and science. The examination aim is to prepare the students to attend any kind of competitive exams and the students to develop confidence and knowledge regarding the subject he/she perceives.
The Scholarship is offered by the Wisdom Education Foundation (WEF). This foundation is an NGO that works in the field of education and child development.
Rewards for Wisdom Scholarship 2021
The top 100 selected students will be given prizes and certificates.
Apart from these the first three rank holders will be awarded a gold, silver, and bronze medal along with the certificate.

The Procedure for Applying Wisdom Scholarship 2021:
- Open the official website (www.wisdomscholarship.org) and click on the download application form.
- Take the print out of the application form and fill the essential details.
- Students can choose the examination subject (Maths or Science) in which one is interested to appear.
- The application fee can be paid through online and offline mode.
- For Offline Payment: Attach the fee payment DD copy along with the filled application form

Some of the Important Dates for the examinations are mentioned below.
For Maths Examination the Exam Date is 10th February 2021
- The last date for the Application is 15th November 2021.
- Last date of the application including a late fee of Rs. 50/- is 30th November 2021.
- The last date of the application with a late fee of Rs. 100/- is 15th December 2021.
- The Hall Ticket can be collected after 20th January 2022.
For Science Examination

Selection Criteria for WISDOM Exam
The selection of the students who have written the exam will be done strictly based on the merit and the marks secured in the test.
Scholarship of Special Education and Vocational Training To The Disabled
The government of Maharashtra along with the social justice and special assistance Department brought up a scholarship scheme for the physically challenged /disabled students for giving them a special education course in their academic course.
The aim of the scholarship scheme is to provide a better educational environment for physically challenged students so that they have hope in education that can change society.

For the candidate to be eligible for this scheme he/she has to satisfy the following terms,
- He must be a physically handicapped person.
- The candidate can be visually impaired, hearing impaired or orthopedically handicapped.
- The applicant must hold the residents of Maharashtra state.
- The age of the applicant must be between 6 years to 18 years.
- In the case of vocational training, the age limit is more than 18 years.
Application Procedure
After the eligibility check by the students, he/she has to follow the given steps to apply for this scholarship scheme,
- Get the application form from the listed institute.
- Fill all the essential data in the application form after reading the conditions and terms mentioned in the form.
- Attach all the required documents mentioned in the website for their verification.
- Submit the application to the concerned office for the registration to be completed.
Awards:
The selected students from this scholarship scheme would be given a free education for their academic course in the environment they are comfortable in for 18 years of their age.
After the completion of their 18 years of age, the specially selected students would be given separate vocational training along with the shelter, food, and a little expense of the student for his daily needs.
This scheme is for the students from the economically backward classes and for weaker sections of society. This scheme is the initiation taken by both the state government of Maharashtra, Social Justice, and Special Assistance Department. This scheme’s main preference is to the students of the 10th standard first and then to the students of other lower classes of the school.
Eligibility for this scheme:
- The students must only belong to the SC/ST category.
- The students must be either of rank 1 or 2 in their whole classroom.
- The students must have a good mark in their last examination they have attended.
- The student must be in the class from 5th to 10th only.
Applying procedure for the scheme:
- The scholarship is prepared by the office of the district social welfare only.
- The list of students would be given to the welfare office by the school principal/headmaster.
The award received from this scholarship is different for both 10th standard students and 5th-9th standard students. The students of the class 10th receive Rs.100/- every month for a span of 10 years i.e. A total of Rs.1, 000/- in an academic year. The students of other classes receive Rs.50 per month for a span of 10 months i.e. A total of Rs.500/- in an academic year.
