Rythu Bandhu Status 2023: Telanagana Government’s prestigious scheme Rythu Bandhu is one of the most useful schemes for farmers in Telangana state. The government has provided the facility to check the Rythu Bandhu status online.

Rythu Bandhu Status 2023 (Agriculture Investment Support Scheme)

Rythu Bandhu Scheme: The government of Telangana introduced the Rythu Bandhu Scheme in the year 2018 to support the farmers by providing financial support as a crop investment.

Initially, Rs. 4000/- per acre per crop (Now Rs. 5000/- per crop). So a total of Rs. 8,000/- will be given per acre per year. A budget of Rs. 12000 crores is allocated every year for the investment support scheme.

Rythu Bandhu Status

All the farmers having at least 1 gunta of land are benefitting from this scheme. The amount was directly deposited into the farmer’s bank account without any mediators. So, every penny coming from the government is directly going into the farmer’s pocket.

  • Visit the official website of Rythu Bandhu i.e., www.rythubandhu.telangana.gov.in
  • In the middle of the page, you will find the two images

  • Click on Rythu Bandhu
  • A new page opens, scroll down to the bottom of the page
  • You will find three buttons
    • Download Mobile App
    • Participating Banks
    • Cheque Distribution Venue Schedule
  • Click on the “Cheque Distribution Venue Schedule” option
  • A new page opens, select your district and Mandal
  • The village wise Cheque distribution date and Venue will be displayed on the screen
  • Check the date and visit the venue given for your village
  • Collect the cheque at the distribution center on the given date

List of Banks Participating in the Scheme

Banks play a major role in distributing the Rythu Bandhu money to the farmers. Most of the amount is directly credited to the farmer’s account through the direct transfer method and Cheques.

Every year, more than 12000 crore rupees are sent to the farmer’s account. The following are the banks that are participating in the Rythu Bandhu scheme for distributing money.

Guidelines for Implementing the Rythu Bandhu Scheme

  • The government has formed a committee with 6 ministers from the cabinet to implement the scheme.
  • Honorable Minister for Agriculture and Cooperation, Sri Pocharam Srinivas Reddy was appointed as a Chairman of the committee
  • Other ministers Sri. T. Harish Rao, Sri. Etela Rajender, Sri. Tummala Nageswar Rao, Sri. P. Mahender Reddy, Sri. G. Jagadish Reddy is appointed as a member of the Committee
  • The commissioner of Agriculture has to obtain the required data with the help of NIC in a secured format
  • The SLBC will take charge of transmitting the data in a secure format
  • The commissioner of agriculture, with the help of NIC, will furnish the data to the banks in a secure format
  • Banks should ensure to secure the given data and payee details
  • SLBC decides the cost of printing cheques and services provided by the banks

The following details are printed on the Rythu Bandhu Cheques:

  • Name of the scheme (Rythu Bandhu)
  • Name of the Pattadar (Name of the Farmer)
  • Pattadar Passbook Number
  • Name of the Village
  • Mandal name
  • Name of the District
  • Amount
  • Signature of the Commissioner and Director of Agriculture

An order cheque will be provided to the farmer. The farmer can collect cash from any of the banks in the state by submitting the cheque.

Two or more cheques will be given if the amount exceeds Rs. 50000/- per candidate. The maximum amount printed on each cheque is Rs. 49990/-.

The farmers have to collect multiple cheques if the amount exceeds Rs. 50,000/-.
