3. Lady Meherbai D Tata Education Scholarship

10. Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship

  1. The meritorious minority girl students studying between class 9th and class 12th are eligible for the Begum Hazarat Mahal National Scholarship. The scholarship is renamed from Maulana Azad Scholarship.
  2. The scholarship is extended to meritorious girl students belonging to the minorities such as Muslims, Jains, Sikhs, Christians, and Parsi communities.  The scholarship renders an amount of INR 12,000 to minority girl students.

11. L’Oréal India For Young Women in Science Scholarship

  1. Meritorious girl students aspiring to pursue a career in Science after completion of their 12th class can apply for L’Oréal India for Young Women in Science Scholarship.
  2. The scholarship offers an amount of INR 2.5 lakh to the girl student.
  3. The maximum age for the girl applicant is 19 years and they should represent the financially challenged community. 

12. Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child: UGC Scholarship for PG Programmes

  1. The UGC scholarship for the PG program for single girl children is titled under Indira Gandhi Scholarship supported with a monthly scholarship of INR 3100.00.
  2. The program extends the scholarship to single girl children when they pursue non-professional courses.

Eligibility:

In a family, if the parents have twins then both children shall be eligible for the scholarship program. 

13. Clinic Plus Scholarship

Clinic Plus Scholarship Programme Guidelines:

  1. The Clinic Plus Scholarship program is extended to the residents of Karnataka state only.
  2. The program shall be run for 50 girl students across the state and they should be studying anywhere between class 6th and class 10th.

15. Scholarship for Single Girl Child – CBSE

  1. CBSE offers scholarships to single girl children of the parent and it is extended to the meritorious girl students of class 11th and class 12th.
  2. The scholarship to the selected meritorious girl will be issued until the completion of class 12th and it shall be INR 500 per month.  

16. DST Women Scientist Fellowship (WOS-B)

Women scientists can re-enter the profession in the S&T domain and continue to participate in the DST Women Scientist Fellow (WOS-B) program.

18. Abhilasha Scholarship

  1. EROS Group has initiated Abhilasha Scholarship and it is extended to girl students belonging from class 9 to class 12.
  2. The scholarship scheme is provided to 100 girls and it will be INR 5000 per girl student.

19. SOF Girl Child Scholarship Scheme

  1. Science Olympiad Foundation has started a scheme labeled SOF Girl Child Scholarship Scheme that supports the needs of financially deprived sections of Indian society.
  2. The scholarship is issued to 300 girl students belonging from class 1 to class 10 and the scholarship amount will be INR 5000 every year.

20. UGAM – Legrand Scholarship Program

Legrand India initiates UGAM: Legrand Scholarship program for the girl students who have completed their class 12. Further, the scholarship is rendered to girl students pursuing B.tech, B.E, or B. Arch @recoginised Indian University. Legard India selects 50 candidates across the nation and provides INR 60,000 per annum.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. The girl must qualify in the three descriptive questions on the given topic in 600 words.
  2. In addition, the family income of the girl and the merit obtained in their class 12 is even considered.

21. Dr. Reddy’s Foundation Sashakt Scholarship

  1. Dr. Reddy’s Foundation announces the Sashakt scholarship to benefit the girl’s students who have passed class 12 in pursuing higher education in the field of science.
  2. The scholarship is extended to the girl students belonging to the rural background and should fall below the poverty line ( economically weaker class).
  3. The girl student must have an inclination towards scientific research and should deliver confidence to seek admission into the best science college.

22. Smt. Geeta Lochan Girl Child Scholarship Programme

23. Savitribai Phule Scholarship – Award for Backward Girl Students  of Maharashtra

  1. In Maharashtra, a backward-class student is supported by  Savitribai Phule Scholarship. The scholarship is extended to girl students belonging from class 8 to class 10 to pursue education.
  2. The scheme is intended to make the girl student financially independent.

24. Muslim Nadar Girls Scholarship, Kerala

  1. A girl student belonging to a backward community and falls in the category of Below Poverty Line families in Kerala is eligible.
  2. Muslim Nadar Girls Scholarship is extended to girl students pursuing HSC/VHSC/undergraduate courses. 

25. JBNSTS Scholarship – Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti

  1. Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti provides financial help to the girl students studying in West Bengal.
  2. The scheme provides entitlement to the girls for the DST-INSPIRE scholarship and it will be INR 80000 per year irrespective of other monetary benefits.
