About Recruitment & Important Dates:
For all the interested applicants, JSSC has provided the Notification on 17th June 2019 and started the application receiving process since then. All these applications were closed on 22nd June 2019 and then the correct dates were extended till 29th June 2019. After that, authority has announced the final exam date to be 4th August 2019 and the candidates have notified that. Now the exam is completed successfully and remaining events are PET and Interview.
- Start of Online Applications for Excise Constable: 17th June 2019
- End date for online Registrations: 22nd June 2019
- Registrations/ application review and correction: 27th -29th June 2019
- JSSC Excise Constable Paper 1/ 2 Written exam date: 4th August 2019
- Written exam Result date 2019: In September 2019
- JSSC Excise constable PET date: Might be in October/ November 2019
About 4th August Answer key:
Now the exam has been done and the aspirants after a while are interested to know about the correct answers to the questions asked in all the papers. JSSC or JECCE will be releasing the Final Answer Key regarding these posts on the official site and the candidates can download them as PDF. After the Answer Key, candidates can evaluate the answers and count the total marks that can be achieved in the written test.
About Results:
Candidates will have to attend the Physical Examiantion Test as the posts are Constable. In order to attend that, they must have selected in the written exam. We are expecting the JSSC to release the Final Merit list or the Exam result of Excise Constable in the month of September or October 2019 and later all these candidates’ names in merit list can participate in the PET exam in the month of October or November 2019.
The official result can be only checked through the website www.jssc.in and the candidates can go to the results menu there. Click on the Results menu and find the appropriate link to the Results ” Excise Constable Results – exam on 4th Aug 2019′. Click on the pdf symbol and download that pdf to check the name on that merit list. If the name is present in that list, candidates can expect the call for PET.
Cut off marks expected:
Written exam totally comprises of Paper 1, Paper 2 and Paper 3 where the candidates need to observe that the Paper 1 is only of qualifying nature where certain limit of marks to be obtained and Merit list will be prepared based on the merit obtained in the other papers. So candidates need to qualify in Paper 1 and secure good marks in other papers to reach the next level of selection.

- General: 40/120
- Backward Castes: 36.5/120
- Scheduled Caste: 34/120
- Scheduled Tribe: 32/120
- Women: 32/120
