How to Get Mother Dairy Franchise & Distributorship: This Scheme is also called “Allotment of Mother Dairy Milk Booths and Fruit & Vegetable (Safal) Shops”.

This scheme was brought to you by the Ministry of Defense through a mutual understanding with Mother Dairy India Pvt. Ltd.

Under this Scheme, the company would provide readily built and completely equipped milk shops or dairy booths for eligible Ex-Servicemen (JCOs and Or’s).

The fruits and Vegetable shops were opened for the Ex-Servicemen or their dependent sons in 1989.

Eligible Locations: The scheme is valid for the regions Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Noida/Greater Noida, and Faridabad.

Mother Dairy Franchise & Distributorship Allotment of Dairy Booths & Safal Shops

Are you ex-servicemen residing in any of the specified locations such as  NCR, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Noida/Greater Noida, and Faridabad in Delhi, India?

Then, get a brief note of the self-employment schemes proposed by the Directorate General Resettlement that function under the directions of the Ministry of Defence. You can avail of the benefit from the self-employment scheme if you desire so.

At the initial stage, the opted personnel would have to make a security deposit of Rs. 1,00,000/- on the account of Dairy booths from Mother Dairy India Ltd.

Working capital of Rs.50,000/- should be made while the selection process is done. For a 2-week duration, the selected person would be given free training regarding proper working in the dairy booth.

From the profits obtained by the selected persons, there would be some amount of profit Remunerated or collected by the office approximately 9% of annual profit from the safal shops would be collected and only 3% in case of deals in case of Milk booths by Mother Dairy India Pvt Ltd.

In the case of milk booths, a number of Rs. 11,000/- would be collected and 5% of other Dairy products which are having high rates among the dairy products.

Eligibility Criteria for Dairy Booths & Safal Shops

Eligibility for Milk Booths:

1. The person’s rank must be up to the JCO equivalent to the Navy & IAF.
2. The maximum age limit to apply for the scheme is 50 Years.
3. The applicant must be 10th passed by any of the boards.
4. Candidates must have good behavior and a pleasant character.
5. The person must register within 6 years after retirement.
6. The applicant must have served above 10 years in Military service.
7. The applicant has to provide a security deposit of Rs. 1,00,000/- and another Rs. 50,000/- for the product inventory.

Eligibility for Safal Shops:

1. The person’s rank must be up to JCO equivalent to Navy & IAF.
2. The applicant’s age must be under 58 years, in the case of a dependent son, he must be between 18-35 years old.
3. The person and the dependent must pass the 10th class from any board.
4. Applicant must have good behavior and a pleasant character.
5. There is no registration bar for this scheme.
6. The person must have served above 10 years in Military service.
7. The applicant has to provide a security deposit of Rs. 1,00,000/- and another Rs. 50,000/- for the product inventory.

Procedure for Applying Mother Dairy Franchise & Distributorship

The Ex-Servicemen whoever is eligible must submit an application form along with some photographs in the given size and supporting documents.

In the case of the applicants who were rejected in the interviews conducted by the mother-dairy officer can apply for safal shops through fresh registration after meeting the eligibility criteria. Below are some mentioned documents for the application submission for Appling to this Scheme.

1. Photocopy of Discharge Book.
2. Scanned copy of the Pension Payment Order (PPO).
3. Scanned copy of ESM/Widow Identity Card.
4. Photocopy/Scanned copy of Dependent Certificate issued by ZSB/RSB/KSB (in case of the dependent son).

Governing Features of Ex-Servicemen Employment Scheme

1. The DGR department has granted the ex-servicemen the allotment of mother dairy milk booths/fruit and vegetable ( Safal) shops.
2. The ex-servicemen belonging to the rank of JCOs & ORs will receive permission to own milk shops/booths and the dependent sons since 1989 will be given fruit and vegetable safal shops.
3. The scheme of mother dairy milk booths/fruit and vegetable (safal) shops will be awarded to the ex-service personnel with demographic limitations. You must belong to NCR, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Noida/Greater Noida, and Faridabad.
4. The selected concessionaire will be provided with readily built/equipped milk shops/.booths for the ex-servicemen and training of two weeks shall be organized by the Milk Dairy India Pvt Ltd.
5. After receiving the license to run the business, you will have to make a security deposit to Mother Dairy Private Limited and it shall be INR 1,00,000.00 and an initial working capital of  INR 50,000.00.
6. You can earn a good remuneration:
   • It will be up to 9 percent of the sales of fruits/vegetables ( Safal shops) and around 3 percent for dals.
   • If you run the milk booth then the minimum income will be INR 11000.00 or a commission of 30-35 paise on the sale of every liter of milk and for the daily products, you can earn 5 percent, whichever pays more on investment. 

Selection Process 

1. The ex-servicemen should qualify for the interview and then will have to submit the following documents along with the application form in duplicate.
2. The application format can be downloaded @ idquo: DGR forms to download, the window of the DGR website www.dgrindia.gov.in. 
3. The documents for submission must be a photocopy of the discharge book, pension payment order, PPO, ESM/widow identity card, and dependent certificate ( if the dependent is a son) issued by ZSB/RSB/KSB.   

Important Note:

An ex-serviceman will be given three chances of interview and the non-selected ex-service personnel must reapply for the Safal ( F&V) scheme. In addition, the ex-serviceman should satisfy the above-stated eligibility criteria.

Resettlement Schemes for Ex-servicemen by DGR

Directorate General Resettlement, DGR is an inter-service organization that engages ex-servicemen in self-employment schemes under the security agency scheme.

Every year 60,000 defense service personnel get retired on completion of short-term/long-term service and the DGR allots to such personnel with alternate employment through government-designated schemes.
