Digital Gujarat Scholarship 2022-2023: These scholarships are run by the welfare and subsidiary departments along with the State Government of Gujarat to provide financial support to eligible students of the merit and underprivileged sections.

1. Digital Gujarat Scholarships to the Disabled Students 2022-23

Digital Gujarat Scholarship to Disabled Students: The main purpose of this scholarship is to benefit the disabled students of the Gujarat state. Disabled students of economically backward sections can utilize this opportunity.

This scheme will be helpful to economically weaker students to purchase their daily needs and to encourage their education.

Below is the eligibility and step-by-step process to apply for the scheme.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The applicant should have a minimum of 40% disability to avail of this scheme
• The student/applicant should have passed his/her previous class successfully.
• The pass percentage of the last academic year must not be less than 40%.
• The attendance percentage in the previous class must be satisfactory.
• The family’s annual income (1st to 8th standard) must be less than Rs.50, 000/-.
• In the case of 9th and 10th standard students, the family’s annual income must be less than Rs.50, 000/- and he/she should be the holder of the “Disable Identity Card”.

Digital Gujarat Disabled Scholarship Application Form:

• The application forms for the “Disable Scholarship” can be available at the very beginning of the academic year.
• Application forms are available online at the official portal from 15th June to 31st August.
• The filled applications are to be submitted by the end of August every year.
• District Social Security Officer provides the application forms for free of cost.
• It is the responsibility of the Principal of the respective School/College to submit the filled application forms to the District Social Security Officer before the last date.

Documents to be submitted along with the Application:

• ID card of the disabled person
• Certificate showing the proof disable percentage by the relevant doctor
• Income certificate of the Parents/Guardian
• Last academic year’s final result copy
• Duly filled application form, to be sent through the respective school/college
• Students belonging to SC, ST, Baxi Panch or General must send their application form with separate statements.

Rewards for the Disable Scholarship:

• A maximum of Rs. 1,000/- per annum is provided to the students studying classes 1st to 7th.
• Rs. 1,500/- or a maximum of Rs. 5,000/- per annum is given to the students pursuing above class 8th.
• The scholarship amount is sent to the respective primary school by the taluk officer.
• The scholarship amount for the students studying above the 8th standard is given to the principal of that particular school/college.

When will the scholarship get Rejected?

The following are the reasons behind the rejection of the scholarship.

• If the disabled percentage of the candidate is less than 40%
• When the candidate is irregular in the school/college
• If the student drops his studies in the middle of the academic year
• The scholarship gets rejected if the annual income of the family/guardian is more than Rs. 50,000/- per annum.
• In case the student dies in an accident

2. Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana 2022-23

The aim of the scheme is to provide financial support to students of all categories having good conduct in their academics. This scheme is funded by the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

The students can get benefited from the scheme and fulfill their educational dreams with the amount that is being funded by the Government.

Interested candidates can go through the below criteria and apply for the scheme.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. The students who completed the 10^th standard and are appearing for the Intermediate course are eligible
2. The candidates who have completed 12^th and are appearing for their diploma/ degree courses are eligible
3. The students appearing for degree courses after the completion of their diploma course are eligible.
4. The applicants must have scored 65% aggregate in their previous academic year.

Rewards:

• The applicants would be given a Tuition fee of up to Rs. 2,00,000/-.
• Hostel food assistance of Rs.12,000/-
• Book Equipment assistance of Rs.10,000/-.

3. Post SSC Scholarship for Boys (SEBC), Gujarat 2022-23

This scholarship is offered by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Gujarat. All the male students belonging to the SEBC category and pursuing the 11th standard and above can utilize this opportunity.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The candidate must be a male
• The applicant must belong to the SEBC Category (Socially & Educationally Backward Class)
• The candidate must be pursuing the class between 11th & Ph.D.

The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Gujarat is offering a “Post SSC Scholarship for Girls“. The girl candidates in Gujarat belonging to the SEBC category and pursuing senior secondary level i.e., from class 11 to Ph.D. can apply for this scheme.
