Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation or Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has been started as the Municipal Authority in the region of Ahmedabad located in Gujarat District. Ahmedabad being a city with historical and modern significance has been providing shelter to lakhs of residents. Indian Government declared this city as ‘Mega City‘ in 2005 and in 2006, (AMC) Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation included 17 other municipalities and 30 Gram Panchayats in its jurisdiction.
The total surface area that AMC work for is 449.343 sq. kms. And as per the census of last decade, its population reached up to 44,42,498 and it has increased by 10 to 20 Lakhs as of now. So it needs the executive and work force to provide regular services to the citizens and residents. So for the recruitment of Assistant Junior Clerk (Sahayak Jr. Clerk), AMC has released the Advt. No.: 02/2019-20. There are 434 vacancies released under this Notification.

As per the schedule, AMC Assistant Sahayak Clerk exam has been carried out and on 1st September 2019, nearly 2 Lakh candidates have participated in the written test. All these candidates will only be one among 434 selected candidates if they excel in the written test.
